What’s the best place to be in the winter? Out on the mountain enjoying great snow in a fantastic setting no doubt. With our launch last year of Oregon’s newest lift/terrain combination - Still Creek Basin - you’ll have plenty of room to move. No matter if you prefer one stick or two, dig in here to learn what’s new at Timberline this year.
Opened in December 2007, Still Creek Basin is a brand-new network of ski trails—the largest and most exciting development of new Timberline terrain since the 1970s. SCB adds nearly 6 more miles of lower mountain terrain, including 8 alpine trails and a lift-served snowshoe and cross-country skiing trail. There’s more. We’ve also added the Jeff Flood Express Chairlift, the longest lift on Mt. Hood. This new, state-of-the-art, high-speed, wind-powered Doppelmayr quad lift can whisk you from bottom to top in just over 6 minutes. For you, this means less time waiting in line and more time skiing and riding.
